About G & M Joyce Construction

We started a plant hire business in the early seventies and carried out work for 

Mayo County Council, Westport UDC, Western Health Board, and others.

Commenced working on major civil engineering projects. These included;

• Main Water Pipeline going to the New Power Station at Money Point, County Clare

• Lough Mask to Castlebar Regional Water Supply Scheme

• The Achill Sewage Scheme

• Group Water Schemes in the Mayo area.

Started carrying out groundwork for estate houses and commenced private house development.

In 1996 we started our own construction company, G&M Joyce Construction LTD, and started specialising in building one-off houses.  We are a small Company that gives personal attention to each customer and over the last 25 years we have developed our expertise in this area.

We have also branched out into landscaping groundworks,  patio, decking, and fencing and continue to provide farming works including land reclamation, hedge trimming, and construction of farm buildings.
